ECP Software Update

The NAIA's ECP software is currently being updated. Once completed, the certification process for the fall 2023 term will open. Legislative Services will notify members when the new process is available.

Access to Training Materials

Legislative Services is implementing a new learning system platform that will provide more extensive training resources for members. Until this is finalized, the learning system that was accessed on Digatel will no longer be used. Rather, keep an eye on the Legislative Rules Ed webpage for PowerPoints and education materials to prepare your staff for the coming academic year. The new learning system platform will be available fall 2024.

PlayNAIA Enhancements

The eligibility center completed an enhancement deployment for PlayNAIA on Friday, June 16. We are particularly excited to announce the new capability for the eligibility center to collect contest dates for each of your programs. This data will be visible at the student-level as they move through the process and removes the need for ADs to submit upcoming contest dates via urgency requests. It will also provide the EC visibility to any instances where the eligibility process may be keeping students from getting into competitions, which will help us making ongoing process improvements.

Each institution’s Athletic Director, Faculty Athletic Representative, Assistant Athletic Director and Athletic Compliance Administrator will received an email by Friday, June 23 with instructions on how to submit their institutions contest dates for the upcoming year. If your campus has not received instructions by that date, please contact us

To read about all the changes that were made to PlayNAIA, we invite you to read the full release notes
