This month we'll read and discuss 24/6: The Power of Unplugging One Day a Week by Tiffany Shlain, available in print at the library.

Selected titles cover a variety of topics that are of interest to business people, including leadership, finance, hiring, and strategic planning. This will also be a great opportunity to network with fellow business leaders.

The Souhegan River Trail

project plans, specs, and estimates have been approved by the NH Department of Transportation. The town of Merrimack has been authorized to proceed to bidding of the project and anticipates advertising the project this Friday October 14th, with a bid opening next Saturday, November 15th.

The Transfer Station will be hosting a freon appliance recycling event next Saturday, October 15th. Bring your air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, and dehumidifiers to the Transfer Station on this date, and the usual $15 charge for each appliance will be covered by

Eversource through their NHSaves program. Eversource staff will also be at the event to discuss rebate opportunities.

The Merrimack Fire Deptartment will host an Open House next Saturday, October 15th, from 10am to 2pm. During this event, visitors will be able to tour the trucks, view equipment demos, and try out the "Midnight Alarm" obstacle course for children!
