Remember how several weeks ago we asked for donations to help put up a billboard?

Well, you came through, and this week our billboard went up on the corner of Sunset & Alvarado! This billboard will reach thousands of drivers every day until November 8 and increase our campaign name recognition.

THANK YOU to everyone who donated to make this happen. We literally couldn't have done it without your generous contributions!

Your donations have a direct impact on how well our campaign is able to perform and on how many voters we are able to reach. I know we ask for donations a lot, but we ask for them only with good reason.

With 32 days to go until Election Day and ballots in the mail to voters, we still have a lot of ground to make up.

As a grassroots campaign, your donations make it possible for us to print door hangers, pay for our text-banking and phone-banking systems, keep our digital ads running, pay our very limited staff, and - now - put up a billboard. All of these efforts are necessary to get out the word to as many voters as we can that there is a serious alternative to the incumbent.

Together, we can make real change for the people of Northeast and Eastside LA.

BALLOTS ARE IN THE MAIL!

With ballots dropping in the mail TODAY to voters, people are now officially able to vote. Which means it's time to leave it all on the field and do all we can to reach voters NOW before they fill out their ballots.

Recent data suggests that a handwritten postcard carries nearly as much weight with voters as in-person canvassing. And we still have a bunch of postcards ready for your personal touch! With ballots in the mail as early as TODAY, it's vital we connect with as many AD-52 voters as possible. This could be our last chance to speak with voters before they cast their ballots!

EAST LA CANVASS

WOMEN'S MARCH

Join us as we knock on doors in East LA on Saturday morning to share our campaign's message for a safe & livable California for ALL.

After canvassing, we'll head out to the LA Women's March Rally for Reproductive Rights. It'd be wonderful to have you join us!

9am - 4pm

One of my favorite events of the year, CicLAvia closes streets to car traffic to allow access for pedestrians, runners, cyclists, skateboarders, strollers, and more. This isn't a race, it's just a really fun day enjoying streets in LA without motorized vehicles. There'll be activities, booths, food, and fun for all!
