Indoor, in-person nursing home visits now permitted in all counties |
Samaritas was front-and-center when news broke in Grand Rapids about the new public health order allowing loved ones to return for indoor, in-person visits at nursing home in all counties. Valarie Cook appeared in a WZZM-TV interview to share what Samaritas Senior Living Grand Rapids is doing to respond.
Samaritas is scheduling out visits in advance and monitoring visits to ensure indoor, in-person protocols are followed, including:
- a limit of two people per person
- a negative COVID-19 test
- a temperature check
- a mask and
- a six-foot distance.
