Dear Pastoral Assistants of Faith Formation,

Jesus is Risen and we enter Easter time in the liturgical calendar. In the next 50 days we will be remembering what this means and here we share some important points to live through the Easter season:

  • Pass by the cross, as the Hebrews passed through the Red Sea. The face and body of Christ glorious is marked by scars. You can't get to Easter, without going through the cross.

  •  Living in permanent exodus, when you leave Egypt quickly and eat standing, when no one settles in pleasurable situations or settles for the freedoms achieved, when faced with the problems that arise in every hour, when the promised land is not renounced.

  • Believing in hope, accepting creation without limits, qualitative change, one's own overcoming of every day. Accept the surprise God, the Passing God, the God who comes, the God who becomes present and is in any person or event or in every sacrament (Job, 1,2).

  • Let yourself be renewed and recreated. Let the risen Lord exhale his breath upon us, his creator Spirit, as in the beginning. To be able to be born again, capable of holy novelty.

  • To be in Christ. "He who is in Christ is a new creation; the old thing happened, everything is new" (2 Cor. S, 17). Not only do we announce that Christ lives, but Christ lives in me or that I live in Christ.

MAY THE RISEN CHRIST BE PRESENT IN OUR LIVES AND IN OUR CATECHESIS.
As a reminder, if your parish allows in-person meetings with small groups, let us know to start visiting you. If you are planning future deanery meetings and would like to invite our Director, please email Carlos at carlos.carrillo@seattlearch.org

FAITH FORMATION IDEAS
Easter is not just a weekend, it’s a whole season! The color gold or white is used during this time to signify the glory of the Lord and our joy in the resurrection. It is a time when we focus on the promises of Jesus to save us from evil and be with us in our lives. (CathFamily)
