Town Hall on Pool & Clubhouse Project Well Attended

There were over 60 who logged in to listen and participate in the Town Hall regarding the Swim & Racquet Center (SRC) pool and clubhouse project.  The presentation took about a half hour; this was followed by almost an hour and a half of a question-and-answer period.  The presentation can be found on the website under the “New Pool” tab, as well as clicking on the link below.

SRC Project Update Presentation

Covenant Enforcement Update

As 2022 has arrived, the WCA’s Proactive Covenant Enforcement Program, initiated November 1, 2021, has been well received by the majority of our residents. The limited opposition, understandably, is welcome to either email or call the Community Standards office to share their thoughts. We are here to work with and never against the residents of the Woodlake community.

The progression of the street view observations started alphabetically with Acorn Ridge and, to date, we have just completed Chestnut Bluff. This equates to roughly eight neighborhoods in sixty days with 46 more neighborhoods to complete. If the progress continues at the current pace, the entire community will be able to be observed by the end of 2022.

The most common observations include but not limited to:

  1. Mailbox cleaning, painting and straightening.
  2. Roof stains (black algae).
  3. Fall leave disposal from yards and gutters.
  4. Proper storage of trash cans, recycling cans and items needing to be kept stored when not in use.
  5. Power washing of the exterior of painted surfaces and foundation bricks.
  6. Driveway repair and resealing.

Please feel free to contact the office with inquiries anytime at 804-739-4344.  Thanks to every Woodlake community resident for your interest in maintaining your property and, indeed, your proactive assistance.

PROACTIVE COVENANT COMPLIANCE

The Woodlake Community Association exists to preserve, protect, and enhance the value of the private and common properties of the community. To build upon our prior efforts, the WCA has implemented a proactive covenant compliance program. For more information, click HERE, and to review the compliance checklist, click HERE.

PARKING STICKERS

The use of our ramps/parking at Shelter Cove and Rock Harbour Park is for residents only. All residents must have a parking sticker. These stickers are free and available to all residents. Before using a parking lot or ramp, please contact the WCA at 804-739-4344 to get your sticker.
