As a reminder, we have scheduled a professional photographer to come to school after lunch tomorrow, Tuesday, March 30th to take individual photos of each student to use in the social media graphics (more information below).

As mentioned in the email last week we will be continuing a new tradition we started last year, and doing the social media highlight profiles for each member of the Class of 2021 (the photos being taken tomorrow is part of will be used for these posts).

Part of our preparation for these social media posts will be to ask each family to fill out an online form with information on the student's favorite St. Cecilia memory, what high school they've chosen, and uploading a baby picture for each student. Please complete the form by Friday, April 9th.

An annual tradition for the 8th grade students is an "Activity Day" trip, the day before Graduation. We are happy to announce that this year's class will be able to have this fun day, and on Wednesday, May 26th will be going to the Kemah Boardwalk!

We have made some modifications to the transportation for this Activity Day to help continue our health and safety protocols. Namely, instead of renting one large charter bus, we have rented two 36 passenger shuttle buses which will allow us to still split up the class and have some measure of social distancing on the bus trip to and from Kemah.

More information will be available soon on any requirements for that day. For now, please know we are excited they will get to have an Activity Day. Please note, transportation, tickets, and a lunch are all included (and are already paid for within the 8th grade activity fee paid by each family).

We have created an online survey form for 8th Grade families to fill out regarding the Washington DC trip. We want to gather information from families please take a few minutes to complete this very brief survey.
