Yes, 2021 is the The Year of Your Customer! So, start rolling out the red carpet for them. Schmooze them, let them know how important they are to you and be genuine and up front with them. Send a thank you email or card. Run an ad in your weekly newspaper, magazine, Social Media or Display campaigns thanking the community for their support.
Take care of your loyal customers and they will take care of you. I am sure you have heard this or something similar before:
"Acquiring a new customer can cost five times more than retaining an existing customer. ... The success rate of selling to a customer you already have is 60-70%, while the success rate of selling to a new customer is 5-20%."
Well, it has never been more true than it is today. If your customer has and issue, fix it. If something is not delivered on time or is not exactly what they want, redo it! Remember, 2021 is The Year of the Customer!
