We are well into our Summer Camp here at Stepping Stones Academy; we have theme weeks like Super Hero Week, Pirate Week, 4th of July, Underwater Week, and so on. The Fort Worth Firefighters came to our school. We learned about fire safety and how to trust firefighters when needed. The children were able to go inside the fire truck. This was such a fun and educational experience.
Preschool 4 classroom did a fun and educational activity. The kids circle and find their names on 2 large pieces of butcher paper. We made it more fun by having the kids set up teams to see which team found their names first. This fun activity is great for name recognition and phonics learning. The children enjoyed it so much and it was nice to see them recognize their friendβs name as well.
We also celebrated Donuts with Dad in celebration of Fatherβs Day. The children ate breakfast with Dad which consisted of donuts, fresh fruit, and orange juice. What a treat to share with our loving dads! We also had an open house for the community. We had a bounce house, games, face painting, and an ice cream truck. The ice cream truck was a hit due to our Texas scorching weather!
