COVID-19 Test Kits for Students

As previously shared with you by our superintendent, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has made free at-home COVID-19 antigen test kits available to students throughout the state. At this time, Orange County schools, including Vessels, have only received a limited number of tests. A number of tests will be allocated daily for a drive-through pick-up in the Vessels lot from Tuesday to ThursdayJanuary 11-13, on a first-come, first-served basis.

On all of the dates above, we will distribute tests in the Vessels lot from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.Please note that we have a limited number of tests for distribution, so there is a strong possibility that all those waiting in line may not receive a test. If this is the case, you will be prioritized to receive a test if and when more tests are received from the state and local authorities. Please be patient, kind, considerate of others, and understand that we may run out of tests on distribution days before you receive one. It should also be noted that you are not required to pick up a test, nor is your child required to take a test at this time. Lastly, there will be no walk-ups permitted. This is a drive-through event only.

  • If a member of your household tests positive for COVID-19 or is awaiting test results, please do not send your child to school and notify the Vessels front office.
