Between 2002 and 2005, partly in response to the catastrophic events of 2001 as well as other personal and worldwide events, I created a series of works entitled “Disturbances”, based on my belief that “At the heart of certainty there is turbulence.” This applies as much to current times as it did then. Only three of the original ten hand-quilted silk works in this series arestill available…(three are in the permanent collections of museums (Racine Art Museum, Newark Museum, International Museum of Textiles in Lodz,Poland), and four in private collections. However, archival prints of all ten (on paper, canvas, metal, or acrylic) are available by clicking here.
