Weekly Walkthru: September 9, 2023

St. Francis Xavier Families,

We survived the hot week together! Thank you again for your understanding of our 1/2 day on Thursday We felt like it was the right call for their safety in this weather.

Today we met as an entire school family PreK3-8th to talk about our school theme. Our theme is BEHOLD. We talked about how the word behold means "be sure to see". This year, we want to make sure that we are seeing Jesus! We can see Him in the Eucharist, at Holy Mass, in others we encounter, and more! To help us behold Jesus, the scripture verse of our year is "Think of what is above and not of what is on earth" Colossians 3:2.

In addition to revealing our school theme, our new students and 6th graders were placed in their FAM houses today! It was certainly an exciting day.

PARENT HOMEWORK DUE ASAP:

This year parent homework is electronic, and so all families need to log on to their FACTS Family Portal to review and make any necessary edits to emergency pickups, medical info, etc. on the Webforms directly.
ALL Students and Parents will also need to e-sign the Acknowledgement Webform found in the Family Portal for the handbook and tuition agreement.

Please complete/update all Webforms on FACTS by Friday, September 15th... at the very latest...as we will shut down your editing access to the Webforms in order to print necessary reports.

**Any necessary changes after Sept. 15th must be communicated directly to the main office.

If you are thinking you MIGHT want to volunteer at all this year (reading a story, fun Friday centers, field trips, field day etc.) you must complete the CORI process this fall. You will not be allowed to volunteer without this completed.

Grades 3-5 Next Week!

Tuesday-Thursday next week grades 3-5 with take the beginning of the year MAP assessment. Please make sure you child gets a good night sleep and eats a heathy breakfast the morning before!
