Welcome to 2022!
CHV Group January 2022 Newsletter
Is 2022 Your Year To Sell?
Is 2022 the year to sell? If it is, we will send a series of steps over the coming months that you can take to make sure the process is as simplified as possible.

Depending on your business, you probably receive solicitations from competitors, brokers, and potential buyers on a regular basis… And it may start to seem like everyone wants your business. But, do they? Or are they just testing the waters, especially the brokers who have a buyer, to try and get a listing?

The CHV group wants you to continue to run your business, even as an absentee owner, to make sure the business doesn’t deteriorate but continues to grow and increase profits. The absentee ownership will show you three things:

  • Can the business run on its own?
  • Are you ready to walk away with no regrets?
  • Do you enjoy the absentee ownership and want to stay on for another year?

If the right prices come up, and you are in the mood to sell, you’re likely to spend a lot of time thinking about that yacht you’ve been dreaming of buying.

There is a saying that every business sells, it’s all about the given time and the right value. On top of that, it’s only going to sell if the seller is fully prepared with their exit plan.

Are you ready to sell in 2022? What are your plans after the sale? If you can't answer that definitively, talk to us and we will help you navigate the situation.

Items to Consider for 2022
Seller’s remorse - It affected around thirty percent of all sellers. It happens to some because they’ve think they sold at too low a price. For most, it happens because, after two years of traveling or other retirement plans, they get bored and miss the business.

2022 strategy and business plan - Are you all set? Goals and KPIs defined? Action plans communicated? Let us help you if they aren’t.

Equipment appraisal -  Are you in need of a year-end equipment appraisal? We are NEBB certified appraisers and can assist you.

What’s to come: February newsletter - Value, term sheet, working capital. What’s really left in your pocket?
