We recently convened our 28th Annual Training Conference, during which our Neutrals enjoyed a full day of training and collegial networking. 

We were honored to have as our keynote speaker, Dwight Golann, a nationally renowned mediator, teacher, and writer. Mr. Golann focused on several challenging aspects of mediation, including insulting offers, feelings of loss, and the evaluation of legal issues. It was a great day of learning!

Hon. C. Randall Lowe (Ret.)

Retired Judge, 28th Judicial Circuit of Virginia, Washington County

The Honorable C. Randall Lowe recently retired as the Presiding Judge of the Circuit Court of Washington County after twenty-two years of distinguished judicial service, including eleven years as Chief Judge. As a lawyer, he enjoyed a successful career in private practice, litigating a wide range of civil cases. Judge Lowe is the 2022 Recipient of The Honorable Harry L. Carrico Outstanding Career Service Award and the 2022 Recipient of the Virginia Mountain/Valley Lawyer’s Alliance, Roscoe Boler Stephenson Jr. Lifetime Service to Justice Award. He is a Past President of the Washington County Bar Association, Former Chairman of the Washington County Planning Commission, and Former Chairman of the Virginia Judicial Conference Education Committee. Judge Lowe now brings this record of dedication and accomplishment to The McCammon Group to serve the mediation, arbitration, judge pro tempore, and special master needs of lawyers and litigants throughout the Commonwealth.

Michael E. Harman is now available full-time.

Mike Harman has been a part-time Neutral with The McCammon Group for over a decade while simultaneously serving as one of Virginia’s most trusted and respected trial lawyers. He recently retired from Harman, Claytor, Corrigan & Wellman and is now committing his energies to mediation full-time. During his part-time tenure with The McCammon Group, he successfully served as a Neutral in over 100 cases. That experience, combined with decades of litigation experience, gives Mike a rich background in a wide variety of civil disputes, including personal injury, professional malpractice, product liability, trucking, and employment matters. Mike is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation. Known for his warm demeanor and ethical conduct, he was the 2019 recipient of the VADA-VTLA Civility and Professionalism Award. Mike now makes these talents and experience available full-time to serve the mediation needs of lawyers and litigants throughout Virginia and beyond.
