Infrastructure Projects in Middlesex Centre
Icon for Road Closure
Among the projects we’re undertaking this summer are ongoing improvements to our road network, including:

  • road resurfacing on several roads in Ilderton, Komoka and Poplar Hill/Coldstream, and on a section of Sharon Dr. Work is expected to run until the end of July.

Drivers are reminded to obey posted road closure and detour signs. Driving on closed roads carries a fine, and more importantly, puts construction crews at risk.
Fibre Internet Installation and Municipal Right-of-Way
As part of the expansion of rural high-speed internet in our area, contractors from several internet service providers will be installing fibre lines this summer.

Residents should be aware that anything encroaching in the right-of-way, including crops, fencing, landscaping, etc., may be disrupted as the new lines are installed. Contractors will do their best to minimize this disruption and will take steps to restore conditions after the work is complete.
