Happy Independence Day!

Lord God Almighty, in whose name the founders of this country won liberty for themselves and for us, and lit the torch of freedom for nations then unborn: Grant that we and all the people of this land may have the grace to maintain our liberties in righteousness and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

The church offices will be closed on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. If you have a pastoral emergency please call the church office 719-598-3244 to speak to the on-call clergy.

Handbell Choir

Sunday, July 9, "Show and Tell"

The St. Michael's Handbell Choir is actively seeking new members. This ministry is a great opportunity for those who want to make a joyful noise and contribute to the worship experience but who aren't necessarily accomplished musicians. On July 9 after both services in the Choir Room, our handbell leader, Mary Dee Weigel, will do a little "Show and Tell" to demonstrate just how straightforward bell ringing is, so please join her. If you are unable to attend, have questions, or would like to arrange a time to work with Mary Dee on a one-on-one basis, please contact her at jmandmdweigel@aol.com.
