November 10 - Picture Re-take Day

Happy Fall! The weather is turning cooler, leaves are changing colors, and pumpkin spice is everywhere! One thing that we know that is never changing is our God's love for us.  It is comforting to know that it any circumstance we can go to Him, and He is there to wrap His loving arms around us. We are blessed to be able to share that message of hope and comfort each and every day with your child.  Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in your child's education.

God's Blessings!

WHEN SHOULD I KEEP MY CHILD HOME FROM SCHOOL DUE TO ILLNESS?

Please use these guidelines, which are based on St. Louis County health guidelines, in deciding whether a child who is suspected of being ill should return to school.

 Students with vomiting, diarrhea, or fever above 99.6 F (prior to being given fever reducers of any sort) in the morning or 100 F in the afternoon are not eligible to attend school.

 Students must be free of symptoms (that is, no fever, vomiting, or diarrhea) for 24 hours before returning to school.

 When taking a child to the doctor, it is helpful to bring a note to school from the doctor to show the child has been directly under the doctor’s care for the given time-period.

 Students with COVID or directly exposed to COVID must quarantine according to current St. Louis County Guidelines. The school is to be notified immediately

Please do not drive or park in the back lot between 8:15 a.m.-3:00 p.m. except for 11:30 a.m. pick-up. If other people are picking up your child for you, please let them know to wait until 11:30 a.m. or 3:00 p.m. to go to the back lot.

If you arrive early, park in the front lot and wait.  Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe.

PTL Fall Fundraiser was a HUGE success!  Thank you for those who purchased mums!  There were a few volunteers who helped sort mums, but many more hands will be needed for future events!

Please consider donating an hour or two when asked to help with the PTL events.  The funds raised are used to benefit the entire student body Pre2-8th grade including classroom events, field day, and the awesome inflatables that were at the church and school picnic.

Please support your PTL officers who are working hard to make your child's experience at OSL an amazing one.
