Greetings!
We are finally approaching the end of 2020. I don’t think any of us are sad to see this year end. It has been extremely challenging and stressful for everyone. So many have lost their jobs and unfortunately, many others have lost their lives to COVID. Children have had their lives turned upside down.
We are aware of only a couple of SDS patients who have gotten COVID and they had mild cases.
Our SDSF board has been aware of the additional stress our families have been experiencing. We have tried extremely hard to support families, as much as possible. To this end, our media team, Nicole, Michelle, and Orva have organized 20 broadcasts of SDSF Live. They had 12 medical professionals as guests, and we reached 5000 families in 10 countries. Great work ladies!
I want to also thank all of our board members who have taken time from their own families to help our organization.
I wish each of you a healthy and blessed holiday season, and a much better 2021.
