Vincent Georgie MBA '04, acting associate vice-president, external, announced that UWindsor alumna Renée Trombley BA' 03 will take up an appointment as executive director of Public Affairs and Communications effective February 22. Trombley will succeed John Coleman, retiring after having served six years as PAC director.

She comes to the University from the County of Essex, where she worked for the past five years as the manager, communications and organizational development. Dr. Georgie called Trombley an acknowledged team builder.

“She brings with her significant public sector leadership experience and very strong interpersonal skills,” he said. “Her experience in communications, marketing, and public relations is robust and will fulfill our wide and ever-evolving needs. She is a poised, highly capable and quality-focused professional.”

Incubator Art Lab, 144 University Ave. West
BioArt Studio a hub for community engagement
The Incubator Art Lab sign was installed last week at 144 University Ave. West, the location of School of Creative Arts professor Jennifer Willet’s new BioArt Studio.

The studio has two primary functions. It will be a space to build the large three-dimensional objects that are central to Willet’s art practice and it will serve as a hub for community engagement.
