Dear RSPA Humble Families,

As we move into the Winter Break, Rhodes School for the Performing Arts' Humble Campus is diligently working on closing out our semester strong. Daily, we witness our students and Fine Arts Department hard at work on our Annual Christmas Production and are anticipating a phenomenal show!

In the classroom, our content teachers have been incredible as we continue to see tremendous academic growth in our scholars. As always, none of this would be possible without your support. Thank you for your dedication in sending your child to school each day. As we are finding out, anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you. The outreach from our families and our community has helped us to be successful this year. We appreciate the “We are CREW” mentality everyone has adopted.

A special "thank you" goes to our esteemed judges from Black Girls Engineer & Modern-Day Hidden Figure, Sharon McDougle for their hard work and dedication as they diligently combed through each and every project in an effort to select our very best! Also, thank you to all of our teachers and staff that aided our scholars' efforts in making this our best year yet!

RSPA's 2021 Thanksgiving Drive Donations

The RSPA Thanksgiving Drive was a HUGE success! This was greatly in part to the wonderful students and parents who support the Rhodes School for the Performing Arts. We collected over 700 non-perishable canned goods and food items! The Humble Campus received donations from the Order of the Eastern Star Members from Queen Estrella Grand Chapter in Houston, Texas. Their donations allowed us to serve 15 additional Thanksgiving Baskets this holiday season!

National Kindness Day

The Humble Campus also decided to recognize National Kindness Day in the month of November! Each grade level contributed by completing a kindness project:

Pre-K: Coloring Books for the less fortunate boys and girls

Kindergarten: Gloves and Clothes

1st Grade: Greeting cards

2nd Grade: Artwork "Thinking of you this thanksgiving"

3rd Grade: Crossword Puzzles for the Elderly

4th Grade: Sock drive

5th Grade: Blanket drive

6-8th Grade: Toiletry Bags for the Homeless
