March 24, 2022
Friends,

Although this week’s newsletter is primarily an opportunity to see the upcoming events in the church, there is one pastoral care concern we wanted to share with you all.

Rev. Dr. Joanna Adams is currently receiving care at the hospital in Brunswick, and she will likely continue to receive care there until Monday. Joanna and Al both solicit the prayers of their St Simons church family while Joanna is recovering.

Please know that Kate and I are both around and available for you all as Joanna heals.

And one last reminder to sign up for the Day of Service that is happening this weekend! We’re looking forward to being the hands and feet of Christ in the world as we spend time together with Keep Golden Isles Beautiful, Morningstar, and at the church.

Peace,
Rev. Annie Franklin Arvin
Associate Pastor
Ukraine
GIVE
As the number of Ukrainian refugees continues to increase by the day, food and other supplies inside Ukraine are becoming increasingly scarce. Sibling churches and ecumenical partners who are already there are helping to provide basic items for survival for the millions who have been displaced. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is providing direct funding for these partners who are on the ground.

To give by phone, call 800-872-3283. To send a check, please designate your gift to Disaster Relief-International Refugee Programs (DR000156)
