The Washington County Playhouse Dinner Theater is proud to present their first murder mystery of the season - Once Upon A Crime. This mystery dinner show opens June 16 at The Playhouse.
You are cordially invited to the tenth reunion of Grimm High School. Unfortunately, with three princesses and one philandering prince, things are likely to be less than cordial, and the odds of at least one person at this reunion will not live happily ever after.
Once Upon A Crime plays for two shows only! Friday, June 16th at 6:00 pm, and Sunday, June 18th at 1:00 pm. A meal is included with your ticket!
The Washington County Playhouse is located at 44 North Potomac Street, Rear. Since 1985, The Playhouse has been entertaining guests in the heart of Hagerstown's Arts and Entertainment District and City Center.
Tickets cost $63.00 for adults, $53.00 for children (ages 5-12) and can be purchased at www.washingtoncountyplayhouse.com or by calling (301)739-7469. Military and first responder discount available!

Celebrating “All Together Now”
for Summer Reading Club 2023
at Washington County Free Library
Washington County Free Library is excited to invite readers of all ages in Washington County to join in the Summer Reading Club fun from June 1 to August 31! This free annual self-paced reading challenge is a fantastic way to keep booklovers reading throughout the summer months and meet new friends at library programs! This year’s theme, All Together Now, is a celebration of friendship, kindness, and community.
You can read on your own, with family members, in a treehouse, on the beach, listening to an audiobook, on an ereader- it doesn't matter how! Infants, kids, and teens will earn prizes for reading 200, 400, and 500 minutes. Adults will be entered into raffle prize drawings for completing two, four, and six books. Readers of all ages can complete extra activity badges to be entered into additional raffle prize drawings!
As in past years, readers of all ages will use the Beanstack online platform to log minutes read, badges earned, and prizes collected along the way. Access the Beanstack website at https://washcolibrary.beanstack.org/ or download the Beanstack app (available in the Apple App store or Google Play store).
Log in if you’ve registered in past years or create an account to register the readers in your household to easily track everyone’s individual progress. If you are interested in tracking with pen and paper instead of using Beanstack, talk to your librarian.
We hope to see everyone at the wide variety of Summer Reading Club programs throughout the county this summer. Pick up a copy of the Summer Reading Club Program Guide (or follow the virtual program guide link listed at washcolibrary.org/src) to find programs near you!
From Kick-Off Parties to electromagnetic demonstrations to magic shows to live storytelling and concerts to reptile shows and beyond, there are plenty of opportunities to be All Together Now at your local library!
Themed Summer Reading Club t-shirts are available for purchase ($5 each while supplies last) at all branches. For more information about Summer Reading Club, visit washcolibrary.org or call your branch library.
