Orientation Leader Applications | Due Sunday, March 27
Orientation Leaders are guides for new students and their families as they make the transition to USI. This is a paid position with summer orientation dates. Summer housing is provided on orientation dates for anyone living further than 30 miles from USI.

Student Success Week | April 4-5
Throughout the series, presenters from the USI community will explore topics related to students' academic, career and personal success. Topics covered typically include study skills, library skills, academic advising, counseling services, financial aid, student organizations, stress management, fitness, recreation and nutrition, career services, study abroad, service learning and others. SpringFest | April 6-8
USI SpringFest 2022 will be held April 6-8. SpringFest is an annual campus event to celebrate warmer weather and campus spirit. Over three days, students have the opportunity to participate in fun activities, pick up free giveaways and enjoy live performances on campus. 
Welcome Week Leader Applications | Due Sunday, April 10
Apply now to be a Welcome Week Leader for August 2022 Welcome Week (Need to be available August 15-25). Welcome Week Leaders will help guide new students through the Welcome Week program, focusing on providing them with a quality transitional experience and introduction to USI. Applications are due Sunday, April 10.
The Road to Finals | April 22 - May 8
As we approach finals and the semester winds down, find some time to relax with virtual activities and on-campus programs offered by University offices. 2022-2023 FAFSA

The 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online at FAFSA.gov or on the myStudentAid app. The state of Indiana's deadline to be considered for state grant programs is April 15. 

Eating Healthy on Campus
USI Dining offers an extensive number of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dining options. The culinary staff uses innovative ingredients, spices and flavors to create a robust and flavorful vegan and vegetarian-friendly menu.

COVID-19 Information
Update on Campus Mask Policy
The President's Office shared communication Monday, March 7 with the USI community on changes to the mask mandate on campus. Effective immediately, wearing face coverings indoors is now welcome, but no longer required on campus. They may still be required in certain locations, however, such as healthcare and laboratory settings and METS buses.

COVID-19 booster shots are available on campus through the University Health Center.

Students are encouraged to submit their vaccination records on the self-report form.

Check in with your Student
Talk to your student about their upcoming semester, their schedule, and how they feel about it. Also, don't forget that Finals Week is creeping up and your student might need some extra support to finish the rest of the semester strong.
