7 - Telehealth Gains Internet Friday (TGIF) 

Many social workers are now thrust into the world of telehealth without much transition preparation. To assist you and increase your knowledge, we are offering a free 10-part telehealth series. Each Friday for one hour, we will cover specific Telehealth practice principles and considerations.

Topic: Client selection for telemental health sessions (1 Clinical Credit)

Please note registration to the meeting through zoom is required in addition to a password. You will be emailed the Link to register, the Meeting ID, and Password upon registration here. There will be an additional email with this information sent the day prior to the event.

Parker SternberghParker Robinson, MHA, LCSW-BACS

Parker Robinson, MHA, LCSW-BACS is the Director of the Porter Cason Institute and Center for Life Long Learning at the Tulane School of Social Work. She has been at Tulane since 2009. Ms. Sternbergh has worked in private clinical practice, agency and community macro settings.

Policies and Regulations: 

1. Please do not share the Zoom Meeting link with anyone who is not registered. We must honor Tulane University policies around capacity and create waiting list for these events. If an individual has not registered in Constant Contact but attends the Zoom Meeting, this person will not receive credit for their attendance. 

2. If you cannot attend, please cancel your registration by emailing jstpierre@tulane.edu. We have a waiting list and would like to make room for others.

3. TSSW is available to offer minimal technology assistance, such as unmuting or muting your microphone. 

4. Register for Zoom at least 20 minutes in advance to account for any technology issues prior to the meeting.

5. Mute microphone upon entry.

6. Maintain a professional view of your camera to include attire and background. You should have limited distractions visible in the background.

7. Attendance is extremely important to the amount of credit hours you will receive.Time will be deducted from the total credit hour(s) when you are not in attendance.

8. The quiz/evaluation will be emailed to you.

9. If you choose to call in, use the Zoom "Connect to Audio" option with your Participant ID.

10. When signing up for this event, you automatically consent to being recorded.
