Dear Prince Families:

You did a fine job getting to school on time during our first week; between Monday and Friday we “shaved” over three minutes off our morning carline completion time. Please carefully watch and comply with the deputies’ hand signals when turning off and onto Highway 78, and remember no students should be dropped off in front of the school unless they are going to before-school care or you live off Ruth Jackson Road (this is a safety issue for our students).

The students are giving high marks to our new food service provider, SAGE Dining Service. Parents, please remember you can view your student’s incidental food costs in real-time in your FACTS account, and I encourage you to do so to confirm your student’s purchases align with your budget. We are looking forward to week two, which has over sixteen scheduled events.

First Football Friday is a new annual Prince community event to celebrate the first varsity HOME football game of the season. ALL Prince families are welcome and encouraged to attend on Friday, September 1st.

Dinner will be served under a big tent on the practice field beginning at 5:30 pm. The celebration will continue until 7:00 pm to get ready for kick-off in the stadium.

Cost is $12 per ticket and includes barbecue, mac-n-cheese, green beans, a roll, drinks, and dessert.

Come join the cheerleaders, Winston the Wolverine, and other Prince families in fellowship and support our State Champions as they take on Athens Academy!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Wolverine Booster Club membership or admission

to the game is required to attend this event!

Deadline to Register is August 23rd.

• Little Prince Players is the lower school drama club that is offered on Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:30 pm for 4th and 5th-grade students.

• During the fall, students are introduced to the fundamentals of drama while preparing for the drama portion of the lower school musical.

• Rehearsals will begin on August 17th. Participants should register at the link below.

• The cost per student is $150 which will be billed on the student's FACTS account at $50 per month.
