Missouri Humanities was honored to award 76 organizations with a collective amount of $535,400 in grants supplied through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. To honor these recipients, we created a short film to highlight the impact of these funds for cultural organizations, nonprofits, and museums across the Show-Me State. Watch the video here.

Check out our Facebook every Monday in December at 10:00 A.M. for "Missouri Humanites CARES" – a mini series featuring recipients of CARES Act funding!

Partisan distrust, misinformation, exclusion, and coarsened public discourse has torn the nation's social fabric. Our ties to one another have become perilously fragile as we grow more divided, gridlocked over social issues, race, health, and the economy. We invite you to join us for this free virtual series, once a month from January through April, as we explore our divisions, the lasting marks of polarization, and the future of democracy in America.

This series kicks off on January 14th, 2021 at 7:00 P.M., featuring the authors of "The Upswing: How America Came Together a Century Ago and How We Can Do It Again." Learn More
