KILLINEY BEACH COMMUNITY HALL

THE LOVERS - AUGUST 18TH

NWCA Welcomes The Lovers from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Here on the Westside we have many rocking snowbirds that have requested we bring the sounds and experience of the Lovers as the first installment to the upcoming Sound Lab series held at Killiney Beach Community Hall.

We will be fundraising for an AED (automated external defibrillator) unit for the North Westside and its residents. 35,000 cardiac arrests happen each year in Canada. Every second counts. Anyone can use an AED. You do not have to be a medical professional to use one. AEDs are meant to be used by the public before the professionals arrive. They are safe to use and can be found onsite in most public spaces. The use of an AED can mean the difference between life or death. Show us your love and support in securing our goal. A generous match donation has already been graciously offered and donated by Clayton Kam, NWCA Sports Director and owner of Killiney Beach Builders. We appreciate the love and support for our hearts.

SPEAKEASY - SEPTEMBER 16TH

Hello neighbours...it's time to put on your nice shoes, grab a 'friend, lover, or even your mother' lol, and get ready for something new: Introducing our Prohibition Night at the NWCA's Sound LAB at Killiney Beach.

The Sound LAB will feature the glamorous musical stylings of Anna Jacyszyn and her Trio on Saturday SEPT 16th from 7-9PM. Anna is a Canadian , European trained singer/entertainer whom has performed all over Europe, North America and Asia. A fellow female singer Yanti (Music in the Park July 22) claimed " I can't believe you booked Anna, she's so amazing'. High peer praise.

It's a 'dress up' (no jeans, no t's and no shorts) Martini kind of affair.

Tickets are $20 each or reserve a table of 8 for $150.

Killiney Beach Hall is currently undergoing a 'make over' (thanks to Brandy Alexandra and Clayton Kam) and this evening will present the hall in a whole new light. Table clothes, staging and lighting, featuring Martini's ($10) and Flat Breads from around the World($8)....it is sure to be a night at the Beach like no other...

NWCA supports live music and short drives.

Thank you to our local sponsors EXP Realty/Donna Steele and Killiney Beach Builders... without which, this evening could not exist.

Hope to see you at the Hall ~ Wendy Waters, NWCA Events Director
