The H+ Academy is an opportunity to face the world's issues with leading thinkers of AI, Philosophy, Economics, Science and the Arts, and offers two platforms for attendees: the 30-Minute Roundtable discussion & debate followed by breakout Workshops facilitated by members.
"Going Meta with the Brain" is the topic of the first Roundtable with Philosopher & NASA-Baruch Blumberg Chair Susan Schneider and Philosopher & Alcor Ambassador Max More.
- Why do we have the cognitive, emotional, and perceptual capabilities and limits that we have today?
- How might brains be reengineered biologically to enhance capabilities?
- What non-biological technologies might enhance the brain?
- What dangers should we look out for when considering such upgrades, whether philosophical, psychological, or social?

How does it work? Participants open with a 1-minute position statement (quick-fire). Discussion and debate between participants continues with each making a closing statement and the end of the 30-minute round. Attendees can comment in the chat. Following the Roundtable is the H+ Academy Members Workshop.
