Hospital Discounted Care Newsletter

This newsletter provides information and updates on the implementation of House Bill (HB) 21-1198, Health Care Billing Requirements for Indigent Patients, otherwise known as Hospital Discounted Care. Low-income patients who aren't enrolled in Health First Colorado or Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) will have the opportunity to apply for financial assistance or charity care programs at the health care facility where they receive care.

Hospital Discounted Care Updates

Data Submission Training with Inzata

HCPF's contractor Inzata will be holding a webinar for hospitals on June 13 at 3 p.m. that will introduce their company to our HDC hospitals. The webinar will cover how to upload data into their Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) site, and will feature some of the dashboards that have been created for the HDC data. There will also be time set aside for questions. The webinar will be recorded and available for providers to reference.

Office Hours
