As I write this, knowing all of the pieces that follow in this week's issue, makes me chuckle a bit.

Why?

Because, after reading last week's issue, I said to no one in particular: "We are doing a lot at this church!" And this week's issue reaffirms this thought. We have a lot going on here at Fellowship Presbyterian Church! I ask that you read through it with a scrutinous eye - whether to pick up on my typos or to make note of where you'd like to plug in, it is important to know of the different ways that God is at work here at FPC! (Think about passing this email along to a friend who is "church shopping" and then invite them to an upcoming event or worship service!)

Tomorrow morning, I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the pancake breakfast and spring workday. Please bring supplies that you think would help bring the church grounds "up to par" - gloves, gardening tools like pruning shears, and cleaning supplies. We will be done by noon at the latest - if you can only come for the breakfast: that's ok! If you have to leave early: that's ok too! It will be great to see you and enjoy some social time while using some elbow grease.

The Pastor’s Discretionary Fund is at a critically low level. The Fund, which provides financial support to those both in our Fellowship Family and our community, allows me to provide aid with pastoral confidence being kept. This Fund is also outside of the FPC annual operating budget. Please consider supporting this important aspect of ministry at the church and thank you to all who have already contributed.
I have heard from some of you, asking if the church sent out an email on Wednesday about Realm. The short answer: yes. In order for us to get the online directory up-and-running, it is imperative that everyone complete their respective profiles. Yes, the online directory is password protected, and can be accessed both through our church's website or by downloading the "OnRealm" app through your app store and logging in on it.

The online directory is currently live, but still needs some updating. This is one way to help.
This Sunday, we will continue our Re:Lent sermon series where we examine the word "re:pent". We will continue to pray for those in our Fellowship Family who need our prayers, as well as all that is going on in the headlines.

As I mentioned earlier, please make sure to look over the announcements below, including how to help the people of Ukraine, ordering Easter Lilies, and the needs of the Mission Committee as they are asking for help, again, in assembling meals for ten refugee families supported locally by Church World Service.

I hope to see you on Sunday morning, if not before!

Until then,
Pastor Kathryn

Wondering what to do with all of those grocery shopping bags? The Missions committee will be collecting “gently used” plastic grocery bags for Backpack Beginnings. Please bring any you don’t use to church with you, leaving them on the Missions table in the Dogwood Lobby closest to the double doors leading towards the classrooms.
Women's Bible Study will resume on March 29.
