Words can not express the gratitude we have for former Mayor Karylinn Echols. After 15 years of public service, she stepped up during a difficult transitional time to take over the office when Mayor Bemis resigned. Taking the oath of office June 29th, was the first day of preparing Gresham City Council for big decisions. Key in her organization and transition was setting into place a healthy process for selection of a new city manager. Over the course of her public service, we have much to thank her for. She came to council meetings prepared and was a fair, wise, and compassionate voice on the council year after year. Her absence on the council will be felt. We wish her the best in whatever new adventure she chooses. We are grateful for her service. THANK YOU MAYOR ECHOLS.
Come heck or high (COVID) water, WorkReady is working. Be part of young lives as they look to the future and perhaps a career. Thank you Amanda Garcia with Northwest Accounting Partners, for being one of the speakers at the WorkReady virtual opportunities. Asha is doing a fabulous job with the student opportunities and business outreach.

What is synthetic motor oil?

Synthetic motor oils can be a good choice for high output, turbocharged or supercharged engines, vehicles that are used for towing (especially during hot weather) or vehicles that are operated in extremely cold or hot climates. Synthetic motor oils, though several times more expensive than conventional motor oils, can improve fuel economy and provide longer intervals between changes. They also provide instant lubrication on start-up.
