NEWS AND UPDATES
COVID-19 VACCINE INFORMATION
Pinellas County Government's new appointment system is designed to cause less stress. Please see the updated vaccine process below:
  • Pinellas County will directly contact residents to invite them to schedule appointments as vaccines become available.
  • Look out for your neighbors: Consider helping a less-connected neighbor make an account.
  • Vaccine appointment invites will be sent chronologically based on when residents registered, but will hopefully switch to lottery
  • Residents will receive their invite via email/text, and then they get a code to access the portal.
  • If necessary, residents can call 844-770-8548, although long on-hold wait times may occur.

There are multiple missions across the county working to meet the demand for COVID vaccines for our 65+ residents. The Florida Department of Health and Pinellas County are working to communicate when appointments are made available. Please visit their website at https://covid19.pinellascounty.org/vaccines/ for the most up to date information.

HOUSING SERVICES FEEDBACK ENCOURAGED

WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE LARGO GOLF COURSE?
The City of Largo has invited a Technical Assistance Panel to evaluate options for the future use of the Largo Municipal Golf Course. Urban Land Institute (ULI) professionals will explore the built and natural environment of the area and meet with stakeholders to develop realistic recommendations that align with the community's vision and needs. It is important to note, the future of the course is not yet determined. The panel's recommendations and community input will be presented at a Commission Work Session on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 (4pm) and further evaluated by City leaders to consider all possibilities carefully. Learn ways to attend, watch, and participate in the Commission Work Session at Largo.com/CityMeeting.
