A Great Event at Topanemus Lake
Participants of The Mourning After Bereavement Group gathered for a picnic at Topanemus Lake Park on June 5th. It was the first in-person meeting since the pandemic started over a year ago! It was well attended and all who came expressed their delight in seeing each other live, outside of their Zoom boxes. One comment was, “This is a wonderful group but a sad reason to be a participant of it.”

Thank you to Roger Kane, Chair of the Topanemus Lake Park Commission, and your lovely park staff that made us feel so welcome.

And thank you, Howard Lamhut, for taking photos of the gathering.
Next Bereavement Group
The next meeting of The Mourning After Bereavement Group will continue virtually using Zoom on Friday July 9th. We are meeting on the 2nd Friday in July because the 1st Friday begins the 4th of July weekend. Anyone interested in attending for the first time, please contact Bernice and Bob by emailing info@giers.org or by calling 732-577-1076.
