It finally feels like spring is around the corner! With the nicer weather, we are starting to feel some spring fever. Our theater class has been busy getting ready for production, our yearbook is wrapping up, and we are gearing up for spring break (March 15-19). 

As a reminder, when we come back from spring break, we will be moving into state assessment preparation. CMAS state testing for all middle school students will take place the week of April 12-16. For opt out information, please email Kathleen.Kingdom@coloradoearlycolleges.org.

Chinese New Year

We have learned the traditional arts and crafts to keep bad spirits away by making lucky bracelets, paper cutting of the Chinese character "Fu" and creating New Years Card Greetings for the elementary teachers.
Wolf Wear
Due to Remote Fridays, students are welcome to be in Wolf Wear on Thursdays
Please keep younger siblings out of the parking lot at 3pm when our CEC students come out. We want to keep the parking lot safe for everyone by not having children running in the parking lot.




CEC drop off time is 7:30-7:50am
Axis main drop off time is 7:50-8:00am
To avoid traffic congestion, especially on snowy days, please plan to drop off your students by 7:45am

Just a reminder, students need to be in class at:
7.50am not 8:00am
and picked up by 3.20pm. Please utilize Boys and Girls Club if you plan to be later. Pre-register at the link below.
Marika LeFevre, staff member at CECFC West is requesting any unused jeans for her daughter's school project. If you have any that you don't want, it would be appreciated.

Water bottle fillers have been added to both floors of our building. Please have your student bring a water bottle to school.

Clear water is the only drink permitted before and after lunch. Bringing energy drinks to school and giving to other students is discouraged.
Please consider signing up for Boys and Girls’ Club on location at CEC West MS. 
This is a free afterschool care program from 3-6pm Monday-Thursday.

We would love your help in spreading the word about open enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year.

When we ask students how they heard about CEC, 9 times out of 10 it is because a friend, relative, or neighbor shared this with them.
