Many councils throughout the BSA operate under the premise that units can only buy advancement recognition items after the Scout has made the achievement. With the diverse locations and the time it can take for the postman to deliver...... TAC leadership supports the concept of instant recognition, and therefore encourages units to have inventory on hand of key advancement items so that Scouts can be recognized in a timely manner. Order your advancement and other items today using the processes outlined at https://tac-bsa.org/supplycenter-howtoorder
TAC Postpones Scout Camp in Kenya until Dec 2022
At the January 2021 board meeting, TAC approved a resolution creating a third Scout camp on a rotating geographical basis--with the first edition in Kenya beginning in late December and continuing through early January.
After careful review of all Covid-19 restrictions in many countries served by TAC, we have decided to postpone this camp in Kenya--until late December 2022 through early January 2023. The camp program will take place outside Nairobi with the help of https://www.savagewilderness.org/
