The Book of Boba Fett

The legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) navigates the underworld of the galaxy with mercenary Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) when they return to the sands of Tattooine to stake their claim on the territory formerly ruled by the deceased crime lord Jabba the Hutt.

Superman and Lois

(Season 2)

Today (Jan. 11) – The CW

DC has finally embraced the multiverse in its film and TV slate, giving us multiple live-action iterations of beloved superheroes like Batman, Flash, and, oh yeah, Superman! "Superman & Lois" follows the versions of the characters first introduced on "Supergirl," now living back in Smallville with a family of their own. Fans can get excited to see Tyler Hoechlin's former "Teen Wolf" costar Ian Bohen join for an arc in Season 2 as Lt. Mitch Anderson at the Department of Defense.

Peacemaker

Jan. 13 – HBO Max

In a movie filled with larger-than-life characters, John Cena's Peacemaker threatened to steal every scene in The Suicide Squad. Now, Cena continues his mission to spread the "peace." Joining him are his The Suicide Squad costars Steve Agee and Jennifer Holland, Robert Patrick as his father, and Freddie Stroma of "Bridgerton” as his sidekick, Vigilante. Expect more crude laughs, tighty-whities, and freedom than you can shake a stick at.

Ozark

(Season 4)

Jan. 21 – Netflix

It's wild to think we haven't caught up with the Byrdes since March 2020, but it may have taken as long to recover from the events of that season finale. Part 1 of Season 4 brings us seven new episodes in January, with Marty and Wendy reeling from a visit to Mexico and continuing to look for ways to keep their secrets hidden and their family safe.

Reacher

Feb. 4 – Prime Video

Jack Reacher makes the transition to streaming in a new series based on the first novel in Lee Child's long-running franchise (the books already spawned two films with Tom Cruise). Star Alan Ritchson (DC's "Titans") takes over for Cruise as a former Army police officer framed for murder, and reportedly read 24 of the novels prior to filming. Talk about preparation!

Vikings: Valhalla

Feb. 25 – Netflix

"Vikings: Valhalla" takes place about 200 years after the original series, and chronicles the adventures of the next era of legendary Viking warriors: Leif Eriksson, Freydis Eriksdotter, and Harald Hardrada. From what we’ve seen in the trailer, "Valhalla" looks to double down on what we loved so much in the first series: epic land and sea battles, awesome women warriors, political intrigue, and scrappy heroes to root for as they come into their own.

Ms. PAC-MAN Turns 40

Ms. Pac-Man turns 40 on Jan. 13^th. Whether you call it a birthday or anniversary, marking the significance of the date is important. Ms. Pac-Man was the first sequel to Pac-Man (1980) and the first entry in the series to not be made by Namco. (It was published by Midway.) Ms. Pac-Man was acclaimed by critics for its improvements to the original gameplay and for having a female protagonist. Critics have described it as superior to Pac-Man. and has been listed among the greatest video games of all time and as one of the most successful American arcade games ever made.
