The U.S. Small Business Administration began accepting applications for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund on Monday, May 3, 2021. The purpose of this funding is to provide support to eligible entities, such as, restaurants, bars, and other similar places of business that serve food or drink, that have suffered revenue losses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the program opened last week, $2.7 billion of relief funds have been distributed to 21,000 restaurants and related businesses across America.
