COVID-19 Business Relief

Grant Program

On Monday, May 3, 2021 the City of Rancho Cucamonga launched the COVID-19 Business Relief Grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant CARES Act (CDBG-CV). This business relief grant program provides grant assistance to micro- and small-businesses adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This program prioritizes assistance to the restaurant and hospitality sector as well as the brick and mortar retail industry. Since the application period opened, the City has received over 400 applications through the City’s program administrator MDG Associates.

Due to an overwhelming response and limited funds, the COVID-19 Business Relief Grant Program

will be closing on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 5pm.

SBA Restaurant Revitalization Fund

The U.S. Small Business Administration began accepting applications for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund on Monday, May 3, 2021. The purpose of this funding is to provide support to eligible entities, such as, restaurants, bars, and other similar places of business that serve food or drink, that have suffered revenue losses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the program opened last week, $2.7 billion of relief funds have been distributed to 21,000 restaurants and related businesses across America.

San Bernardino County

Rent Relief Partnership

On April 12, 2021, San Bernardino County established the San Bernardino County Rent Relief Partnership, an emergency rental assistance program that will leverage more than $46.8 million in U.S. Treasury funds to provide rental assistance to county residents impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Tenants and landlords are encouraged to apply for this emergency pandemic rental assistance.
