IPM Christmas Store at Crossroads Delivers
Much-Needed Holiday Cheer for 500+ Families
Thanks to YOUR generosity, the spirit of the season came alive in powerful ways at IPM Food Pantry's 2021 Christmas Store at Crossroads East Side Church last week.

At the two-day event, 425 client families were able to shop from an abundance of gifts for their families at the Christmas Store, choosing items ranging from baby toys to presents for senior citizens. Additionally, IPM was able to distribute toys and gifts to over 200 clients at the Amelia and Newtown Drive-Through Pantries. The remaining gifts were transported to western Kentucky to be given to families devastated by the recent tornadoes there.
“There were more gifts to choose from than I ever imagined," said Christina, a mother of three teenaged girls and a year-old son. "My shopper was helpful and I could take my time to shop. It was such a fun experience picking out what my kids wanted. It was just easy and very organized … the Christmas Store was wonderful!”

We are so grateful for the thousands of gifts that were donated, the hundreds of hours put in by volunteers and the partnership with Crossroads East Side to make the Christmas Store an unforgettable experience for IPM clients.

Students from the Jeff Wyler Boys and Girls Club were able to spend an afternoon shopping in the Christmas Store for gifts for their care givers.

Summer Tyler, Education Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club, described the impact of this experience, "Thank you so much! This is such a unique and wonderful opportunity for the kids to be able to pick something out for their caregivers. This was very special."
“Our partnership with Crossroads gave families not only Christmas food and toys but the gift of a special Christmas experience. Families had a chance to pick out gifts for their kids and also participate in Christmas festivities from visits with Santa to Christmas caroling.” Nicole Gordon, IPM Manager of Client Services

“This unique event is a great example of how two organizations can come together to support families in the local community. What we love about our Christmas Store is the way it empowers parents and caregivers to personally pick out gifts for their children. This simple act of shopping and selecting gifts allows them to be heroes for their own families on Christmas morning.” Alida Hart, IPM President and CEO

“Crossroads East Side was honored to partner with Inter Parish Ministry to bless families with gifts this Christmas. We wanted kids all over the east side of Cincinnati to feel known and loved. We believe in the work that IPM does all year long to support those who need a small boost up and were glad to pull our communities and resources together this Christmas to do something extra special.” Lena Schuler, Crossroads East Side Community Pastor
