California Shop Small - Just The Basics
California Shop Small is a 3-week program to help product-based aspiring or existing business owners sell online. Online classes will run from November 30th to December 16th, bi-weekly at 3:00 pm. After completing the program, business owners will gain access to sell on a California branded eCommerce platform. Business owners will receive a six month free subscription to sell online while receiving no cost one-on-one consulting to assist in furthering their online success.

COVID-19: Over 2.2M Fully Vaccinated in OC; Cases Fall
An average of 201 cases was reported for the seven-day period ended Nov. 4, according to Orange County Health Care Agency data. That's down about 26% from the previous weekly average. The OCHCA also announced Oct. 25 it has started offering booster shots of the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines to certain populations, following recommendations from the Western States Scientific and Safety Review Workgroup, the CDC and the FDA. The Orange Chamber of Commerce has partnered with CalOES and PPE Unite to become a N95 Mask Distributor for the businesses in Orange and our surrounding communities. Our pick-up frame will be once a week until supplies lasts. You must sign up through PPE Unite's website to reserve your free PPE.

The ribbon cutting event for O SEA has been postponed to a pending date in January!
O SEA is proud to announce that it will be transitioning its service model from counter service to full service in January, replete with a reservation book and servers & bussers on the dining room floor.
In just a few weeks you'll be able to enjoy your go-to Salmon Ceviche, Oaxacan Hot Shrimp, and an icy glass of Chardonnay from the comfort of your reserved table without having to get up and order at the counter. And what will happen with that counter? Orange's coziest wine and oyster bar!

John Wayne Airport invites artists to apply for an exhibition of contemporary, 48” x 48” x 2.5" non-representational unframed paintings for display in the Vi Smith Concourse Gallery from May 2022 through February 2023.
The completed application packet with images submittal deadline is 4 p.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022. Artists will be notified by March 15, 2022.

Goodwill Industries of Orange County is looking for small businesses in the Orange community that are willing to provide work experience opportunities for high school students (with learning disabilities). Students are paid through a grant and can work up to 200 hours at no charge to the employer.
