On April 22nd 2022, The Eastcentral AHEC took part in the Carbon County Collaborative. Founded in 2010, the Interagency and Family Collaborative Board (IFCB) created a community-wide approach to address health and human services issues. To keep pace with change, the IFCB evolved, and this is reflected in their new name: The Carbon Collaborative. This years Human Service Priority Breakfast featured speakers from various organizations across Carbon County with the theme being Resilience. With guests ranging from multiple Health fields, State Representatives, and even a cardboard cut out of Dolly Parton herself, the event brought together individuals from all over the county with Resiliency in mind. From touching speeches to great opportunities for networking, the breakfast allowed for conversations to happen that hadn't happened in person since before the pandemic. By the end of the breakfast, everyone including Dolly, came away with new connections, lots of valuable information, and a great sense of what Resiliency means to so many in the community!
