OUR PARISH MISSION
Christ Church exists to show everyone God loves them unconditionally.
We do that by EXPERIENCING, EMBRACING, AND EXTENDING
God's love.

There are three ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:
you can mail in your pledge, give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

Thank you for your continued generosity to God through Christ Church!
CONTRIBUTION ENVELOPE UPDATE
The 2021 contribution envelopes were dropped off at the USPS bulk mail office on December 29. Traditionally, they are delivered within 3 business days; however, the bulk mail unit has said "the mail is slow" right now. Hopefully they are on the way for those of you who have not received them yet!

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY CHAPEL
Sunday, January 17
This Sunday we will hear and discuss the story of John the Baptist and the baptism of Jesus from the gospels of Matthew, Luke and John. We will also talk about how children are baptized in our church by using some of our Godly Play materials. This is an important beginning to our teaching about the ministry of Jesus from the stories in our Jesus Storybook Bibles. We will end the service in our prayer circle and light candles to remind us of what our baptism means (battery operated candles). Please join us either in person or as a Zoomer. Parents: Remember to sign your children up early! Please sign children up here (max 15 children).

For those who are with us on Zoom, Britton Lynn and Rudy will be with you to tell this story — these sessions begin at 9:30 AM. The meeting ID is 3205228708. Britton will let you in through the waiting room.

ADULT CHRISTIAN FORMATION OFFERING
Jesus: Light of the World ~ Sundays, 9:00 AM
Chapter three of Amy-Jill Levine's study Light of the World begins with an examination of events around Luke's birth narrative. Angels singing, shepherds searching for a baby and a place for caring for domestic animals all make for an engaging story. Sundays at 9:00 AM on ZOOM are hopefully a time of new and renewed joy in this ageless story. Dick Hooper and David Starling are the facilitators. Join the dialogue through the ZOOM link available in the Saturday announcements. Please click here for more information.
ONLINE COMPLINE
Settle in where you are at this moment and make yourself quiet, light a candle if you like...and breathe. Compline can be done right where you are — it is typically done right before going to sleep. It can be done in your home, backyard, favorite outdoor space or church. You can be by yourself or with others. The Order of Compline we are using is found in the Book of Common Prayer on page 127. Deacon Rachel Iversen invites you to join her to find rest in this nightly service of Compline. The YouTube link can be found here.
