THE SHAH FAMILY GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
What is it like to work for the largest fuel supplier in Brevard County? Owners and founders Mike Shah and his wife, Rashmi built their success starting with just one gas station in 1980, and over 40 years later, Southeast Petro is now one of the largest fuel wholesalers in the Southeast, supplying fuel to over 400 independently owned gas stations and employing over 200 people.

Southeast Petro Distributors Inc. partnered with Shell Oil Company on “The Giving Pump” in August and September, an initiative focused on driving positive change in local communities by giving back, and it benefited TCHP kids. They also held a Dunk Tank fundraiser this summer.

Mike Shah says, “The community has given me so much and I can never give back enough. Kids are the future of Brevard. All kids deserve to get the same opportunity, especially when it come to food.”

“The Children’s Hunger Project is near to our hearts here at Southeast Petro,” says Summit Shah, Mike's son and TCHP past board chair. “I am honored to be able to have an integral part in such a well-known organization that does so much for the children of Brevard County. Keeping our children safe and well-nourished is paramount to the success of our future generation of decision makers.”
WE APPRECIATE BPS TEACHERS AND STAFF!
TCHP is successful today because of our close relationship with BPS teachers who know which kids are going hungry on weekends. Superintendent Dr Mark Mullins and School Board/TCHP board member Katye Campbell were in attendance. Teachers and their families had a meal from Jersey Mike’s,

We sincerely thank ALL our teachers, Dr. Mark Mullins, and the families who attended and are making an impact on the students who receive weekend meals, ensuring kids have weekend nutrition to enhance their learning experience.

What can you do to impact a child's life right here in Brevard?
Volunteer, share awareness of our mission with others, have a fundraiser and donate - even a small monthly donation adds up!

While many organizations have federal and state funding, we rely on the goodness of businesses, civic groups, faith-based organizations and individuals. All of our meals are prepped, packed and distributed by volunteers. As a TCHP volunteer commented, “There is nothing more honorable than caring for hungry children. You all are heroes.” THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for being heroes to so many local children in need.
For those who can make a significant contribution, consider joining the Children’s Circle of Hope Society - this society is open to anyone contributing $1,000 or more annually. Contributions can be set up on a recurring basis of $84 per month.

Many thanks to local businesses, organizations and individuals that have stepped up to help us with our funding needs. Because of your help, we are making the lives of children in Brevard better during a challenging time.

Please consider including The Children's Hunger Project in your beneficiary and estate plans. Leave a lasting legacy of fighting childhood hunger in our community!
Thank you for caring and sharing.
