Greetings!

Last Night I stepped out
of the cabin into the
stillness of night.
The snow was silent.
The trees stood still.
The moon played with
the stars shining in between
the galaxy of this time.
I looked up and
I breathed deep.
I smiled wide.
Awe lays in that space,
between me and the moon,
between me and the stars,
between that breath that I breathe,
that disappears into the cold night air,
that tells me,
I am temporary here,
and I am,
Part of,
all that is.

To keep the congregations up to date on the happenings of LSBB, the group will provide you the weekly minutes for you to read at your leisure. Also in this newsletter is the plan as of now for the lower level. Please feel free to explore the lower level yourself as there is tape marked on the floor as to walls and doors. Currently LSBB is working on getting estimates for the project in the lower level of Bethesda. LSBB continues to thank you for the support of this program and especially the sponsorship family.

The Pulitzer Prize–winning, bestselling author of The Warmth of Other Suns examines the unspoken caste system that has shaped America and shows how our lives today are still defined by a hierarchy of human divisions.

In this brilliant book, Isabel Wilkerson gives us a masterful portrait of an unseen phenomenon in America as she explores, through an immersive, deeply researched narrative and stories about real people, how America today and throughout its history has been shaped by a hidden caste system, a rigid hierarchy of human rankings.

When will we start worshiping in the church?

Goal -
70% completed vaccinations
less than 1/100K new cases
less than 5% new positive cases

Here's where we are as of Feb 15, 2021-
4.1% fully vaccinated
16.3 new cases/100K people
3.1% positive tests

These figures are still outside the threshold for safe gathering. Vaccinations are moving in the right direction, but supply is still limited. In light of these statistics, and the new, more highly transmissible COVID variants which are now circulating in the US, we recommend that churches abstain from gathering in physical space at this time

Still lots of cleaning to do at both churches
