Greetings!
Last Night I stepped out
of the cabin into the
stillness of night.
The snow was silent.
The trees stood still.
The moon played with
the stars shining in between
the galaxy of this time.
I looked up and
I breathed deep.
I smiled wide.
Awe lays in that space,
between me and the moon,
between me and the stars,
between that breath that I breathe,
that disappears into the cold night air,
that tells me,
I am temporary here,
and I am,
Part of,
all that is.

When will we start worshiping in the church?
Goal -
70% completed vaccinations
less than 1/100K new cases
less than 5% new positive cases
Here's where we are as of Feb 15, 2021-
4.1% fully vaccinated
16.3 new cases/100K people
3.1% positive tests
These figures are still outside the threshold for safe gathering. Vaccinations are moving in the right direction, but supply is still limited. In light of these statistics, and the new, more highly transmissible COVID variants which are now circulating in the US, we recommend that churches abstain from gathering in physical space at this time

2021 Synod Assembly Justice & Joy |

The NW Synod of WI's theme for the 2021 Synod Assembly is Justice & Joy. Spirit Lutheran's Mission & Outreach Committee invites you to Mondays in March, a series of virtual (online) facilitated conversations. Sessions include a presentation, devotion and prayer, and an invitation to talk about and ask questions one of the resolutions being presented at the Synod Assembly on April.
