Parcel Room, a pack and ship business located Portsmouth, NH has been sold by Jeff Ballantyne to Ryan Boccelli and Jason Newman. The transaction was brokered by
Ed Settino, Business Broker with New Hampshire Business Sales, Inc. based in Pembroke, NH. Financing was provided by The Provident Bank.
Parcel Room has been family-owned and managed since 1985 and was being run by the second generation at the time of sale. The business offers complete packing and shipping solutions to a diversity of customers. It can pack literally anything and ship all over the world. The store is an Authorized Shipping Center for UPS, FedEx, DHL and US mail as a USS Approved Retail Location. Additionally, it is the lead store in PackFreight Network.
Ryan Boccelli said he plans to build on the success the Parcel Room has achieved and take advantage of synergies with his other business,
Rate Liner, focusing on warehousing, fulfillment and transportation.
“By combining both companies, we now have the technology customers look for, while providing a fleet of vehicles that can deliver anything, anywhere (literally) with full order fulfillment completed within our warehouse network” stated Boccelli. “In addition, we plan to expand on the Parcel Room Specialty Antique Solution by adding ecommerce solutions to online auctions and final mile delivery for complex shipments through the Parcel Room’s customer network and Rate Liner’s residential delivery fleet.”
