What is forgiveness? Do you have to feel like forgiving in order to forgive, or is it a choice of the will? Forgiveness is one of the most misunderstood commands the Lord has for us as Christians. Yet, as difficult as it is to understand let alone do, it is absolutely imperative that we forgive others. We are to forgive as we have been forgiven. It not only plays a huge part in our own walk with the Lord, but it can make all the difference in the lives of others. This Sunday, we will take another look at this interesting concept of forgiveness. We'll see what happens when we obey and do it and what are the consequences when we choose not to forgive.

SMCA would like to bless those who are working in the healthcare field throughout our communities. Our secondary students will create art which will be digitized into cards of thanks and encouragement. These cards will then be sent to the healthcare workers we would like to bless through our SMCA Service Project. This is where they need your help. We will be using the methods learned in past studies written by Mardi Collier and Jen Wilkin as we focus on discovering a deeper understanding of God. Financial Peace University (FPU) is a nine-lesson class which will teach you how to pay off debt, save money, and invest for your future. Our desire is to assist one of our supported missionary families, the Bixbys in Sarselles, France, with their current financial need to purchase the space they've been renting for their ministry. The Bixbys have been able to raise a significant amount of funds; however, we would like to be a blessing to them. We are looking to raise $18,000.
