Dear Families of International Students,

Greetings from Gould Academy!

The Gould Community is excited to have a number of our international students return to campus for the spring trimester.

Looking ahead to the end of the school year, all students will be expected to depart from Gould campus by the third week of May. International students are being given an extra 2 weeks to plan their departures.

  • Non-seniors and seniors not attending Commencement should plan to depart campus between May 6 and May 21. They should depart from campus NO LATER than 3:00 pm on May 21.

  • Graduating seniors are scheduled to depart after Commencement on May 22. They should depart from campus NO LATER than 3:00 pm on May 23.

Travel arrangements should be discussed with your student’s advisor and communicated to Mrs. Joy Doughty. Please be sure to research all restrictions and COVID-related tests required for entry into your country.
.
COVID-19 PCR testing will be available to all eligible students 72 hours prior to departure.

Please note: Students from the People’s Republic of China must go to a lab approved by the Chinese government to get PCR and IgM antibody tests 48 hours prior to boarding their flight. The nearest approved labs to Gould Academy are in New York City. Gould Academy can assist with transportation to NYC.
Please refer to this list of testing sites.

If you have made travel plans that are NOT within the dates above, please let Mrs. Doughty or your child's advisor know as soon as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We welcome any questions you may have.

Take care and stay safe!

Sincerely,
Mr. Peter Moses, Director of International Student Programs
Dr. Brad Clarke, Assistant Head of School for Teaching & Learning
