Vaccine? Check. Now What?
By now no doubt you and/or many people you know have received one or both Covid-19 vaccine shots, and while the development and distribution of the vaccines has been staggeringly swift, it does raise the question: Now What? What exactly does it mean to have been fully Covid-vaccinated? What has changed, and what has remained the same?
While yes, the probability of protection is now much higher, the Coronavirus remains a slippery, moving target. At some point it will be treated as is the flu, measles and HIV.
But not now, not yet.
So unfortunately the answer to “Now What?” is not the clear-cut answer that most people want to hear. How to proceed is still a very nuanced and personal decision.
The threat remains, and vigilance should as well.

As locals it’s easy to lose perspective on all the uh, ‘unique’ things about Philadelphia
(If we ever had the perspective to lose in the first place). Enter Twitter. A new-to-the-area Twitter user named Lauren (Twitter handle @ActNormalOr Else) innocently mused about the “increasingly implausible-sounding things” about Philly. Unsurprisingly, the Twitterverse responded.
