Housing is a Human Right

Our first annual meeting was a success! We made two great announcements:

The Shelter Team announced plans for Project Haven, a collaborative and new model for housing those experiencing chronic homelessness.

The Tiny Home Team announced that a deposit has now been made on the Edgerton neighborhood site by City Roots Community Land Trust where the REACH Tiny Home Village is planned.

We heard a moving testimony from one of our guests, Tamantha Williamson, and from our Board member, Talitha-Koumi Oluwafemi.

We re-elected Kevin Aiken, Jeanette Creighton, Joe Di Fiore, and Talitha-Koumi Oluwafemi to serve a three-year term on our Board, and re-appointed Sarah Peters as Secretary and Kyle Geer as Treasurer.

Last but not least, we enjoyed snacks supplied by our friends at St. Peter’s Kitchen. All told we had thirty people present!

We invite all of our readers to read the annual report of REACH Advocacy, Inc. Thank you to Sarah Peters for creating this document.
