Meet Our Anniversary Dog "Shiloah"

The 10th Anniversary

As a roll-out for our 10th Anniversary in March 2024, we begin a monthly series of 10th Anniversary dog profiles in this newsletter. Nine people responded to our call for dogs that came to the park in 2014 and who still visit the park today.

The 10th Anniversary logo will be used throughout 2024 and included on special edition anniversary branded merchandise we will release later this year.

The 10-year success of the dog park is because of you! Stay tuned as we announce anniversary events and other information.

Might Your Dog Be a BARK Ranger Candidate?

FL Department of Environmental Protection Aquatic Preserves employees will have a table with info about the BARK Ranger program at the park on Friday, July 14th from 8:00am to 11:00am. See them at the north/east entrance.

The BARK Ranger program originated in Olympic National Park in 2015. Since then, the program has expanded inside and outside of the National Park Service and is now a successful program in Florida. Making your pet a BARK Ranger is a fun way to protect wildlife and public lands while having a "paws-itive" experience with your pet in the outdoors.
