On Sunday we were blessed by having Dr. Danny Akin here. He preached a sermon titled "God on Marriage and Family." This Sunday we will continue our Year in the Word series with a sermon called "Israel's Folly." If you missed this week's sermon or any other series you can find them here.

A Discipleship Guide is available to accompany you on this journey and help you get the most out of this series. Pick up your book outside the sanctuary on Sunday or outside the office during the week. Click here for a pdf of the Guide that has fields you can fill in. Sam Hardy's Visitation Update

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:30 pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, 161 Broadway, Versailles, Kentucky. The funeral service is at 6:30pm and the church is invited to attend.

Lloyd Beason

Lloyd Beason went home to be with Jesus Saturday night. We remember Lloyd as a soft spoken and very faithful Christian. We appreciate Denny Vincent and Nancy Carol Vincent who have provided wonderful care and friendship to Lloyd for the past several years. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Each week we have multiple ways for your kids to participate in Kids Worship! One way is to join us for our Kids Zoom Wednesdays at 6:30! During this time kids will get to join together to hear our weekly Bible story, sing worship songs, & play games! You can join our Zoom using this link or by downloading the Zoom app and using the Meeting ID: 864 982 9394 and Passcode: vbckids.

Bible Drill is meeting via Zoom every Sunday night at 6pm. This is for 4-5th graders. Here’s the link.

VBC Kids Ministry T-shirts

If you ordered a shirt you may pick it up at the church office Monday - Friday between 8am - 5pm. Also if you served as a children's or preschool Sunday school teacher or Wednesday night volunteer (before COVID) we have a shirt for you! Contact Autumn or call the church office if you have any questions.

UK Healthcare is taking signups for the Covid Vaccine for those over 70. If you, or one of your family members would like to be put on the list, please use this link.

If you or someone you know needs help signing up, please contact the church office at 873-7338 and we will be glad to help. Also, if you or someone you know needs transportation to get the Covid Vaccine, contact the church office and we would be glad to help arrange transportation.

The Woodford County Health Department is working diligently to finish vaccinating tier 1A as determined by the Advisory Council for Immunization Practices. Once tier 1A vaccination is complete, the WCHD will continue vaccinating under the guidance of Kentucky Department for Public Health. To get on the vaccination list, follow this link.

VBC Parking: Please make sure you park in Versailles Baptist Church lots, Thoroughbred Square, or in public street parking when attending our services. Please do not park in the Living Grace Church parking lot by the brick building between Versailles Baptist and the Presbyterian Church. Don't forget you can enter the Sanctuary via the Main Street entrance when you park in Thoroughbred Square.

Local Mission Grant

If you know of a gospel-centered local ministry in our area, they can apply for a grant through our church. Applications can be emailed or picked up at our church office and are due back by the end of February.

Food Pantry Wish List

The Food Pantry for Woodford County could use our help for supplies. Below is a list of items they are in need of. Your donations can be dropped off at the church and a member of the food bank will pick them up.

CANNED: Potatoes, peas, carrots, mixed vegetables, greens (kale, mustard greens, spinach, collard greens, etc.), beans of all kinds, soups of all kinds, fruit of all kinds, tuna, salmon, Vienna sausage, spam, chicken, any canned meat, pasta (spaghetti O's, beef and mac, ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, beefaroni), all types of spaghetti sauces, tomatoes, tomato sauce, juice, and peanut butter.

DRY: Potatoes, cereal of all kinds, oatmeal, packaged rice dinners, packaged macaroni dinners, macaroni & cheese, crackers, 1# packages of dry rice, 1# packages of beans (pinto, black, kidney, navy and great northern).

PERSONAL CARE - HYGIENE ITEMS: Bar soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels.
